As I can see on its official website, the application isn't available on Mac operating system. The only download link that's available is for Windows operating system. You will have to take advantage of the virtualization system in order to have the application up and running. Through virtualization, a Mac user has the ability to install Windows even if it's on Mac. Press CMD + Space then type Bootcamp and follow the instructions. After Windows is installed, transfer the file and you should be able to run it.

It was suggested that Adobe Photoshop Express is capable of opening PTX files. To obtain the application, visit the official website at Play Store and install it then use the Open menu to locate the PTX. This is the only possible solution at the moment.
